Wallington County Grammar School is a selective grammar school for Boys based in Sutton.
It is generally considered to attract students with high attainment. Its 11 plus examination is considered to be one of the more challenging one for grammar schools in England.
Wallington County Grammar School is a popular grammar school that was converted to academy status in 2011.It caters for boys in Years 7 to 11 and is coeducational in the sixth form.
The school was founded in 1927(School moved to its present site in 1935), and it work within the Folio Education Trust blending the best of tradition with innovation to engage and inspire their students to be the very best they can be.

Entrance to Year 7 is via a two stage process sat at the School which determines whether or not candidates are of the School’s required standard for a selective education. The process is academically demanding and they generally expect only those students who have high attainment and rigorous preparation to pass the tests. Stage 1: It should be noted that Grammar School in Sutton who are a part of the participating schools have a common selective Entrance Examinations for both Stage 1 & 2. Only candidates who have passed Stage 1 test(Selective Eligibility Test) are invited for the Second Stage Examination. Wallington Boys Grammar school DOES NOT conduct the Stage 2 test and only relies on Stage 1 results to prepare to determine eligibility to be considered for a place at Wallington County Grammar School. |
