The school was orinally known as Dartford Technical High School from 1954 to 1982.As of now,Wilmington Grammar School for Boys is a specialist engineering school with a strong emphasis on design technology, mathematics and physics.The school has a academy status.
Results are consistently of a high standard with the majority of students going on to study in some of the most prestigious universities.The school provides excellent education for boys between the ages of 11 and 16, and girls and boys in our Sixth Form. The selection is based on 11 plus Kent examination. Boys are admitted from 11 years old and Girls join in Sixth Form.
